Damian Christian Final Year as Chair
Damian Christian is the Managing Director and President of Promotions at Atlantic Records. He will serve as Chair of the BRIT Committee for the third and final year. Reflecting on his tenure, Christian shared: “It is a privilege to chair The BRITs for the third time. It feels special for it to be the final time.
I’m proud of the changes we’ve implemented. The results we’ve achieved over the last few years make me proud. I’m also looking ahead to going out with a bang in March.”
He emphasized the importance of maintaining the Saturday night slot. He stated, “Making sure we kept our Saturday night slot was our first priority. Now that we’ve locked that in, we will work hard to make next year’s show one for the history books!”
Highlights from the 2024 Ceremony
The 2024 BRIT Awards, hosted by Clara Amfo, Maya Jama, and Roman Kemp, delivered a record-breaking night. RAYE swept the board with six awards, after a groundbreaking seven nominations. Other winners included Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, and Miley Cyrus. Bring Me The Horizon and CASISDEAD also won awards. Chase & Status, Jungle, and Boygenius were among the winners. The Last Dinner Party and SZA took home awards as well.
