The El Paso Symphony Orchestra (EPSO) is excited to announce auditions for multiple musician positions in Spring 2025. As Texas’s oldest performing arts organization, EPSO continues to elevate the region’s cultural experience through exceptional musical performances.
Established in 1931, the orchestra showcases a dynamic blend of classical and contemporary pieces, featuring world-renowned musicians and guest artists.

El Paso Symphony Orchestra Audition Details
Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, and Sunday, May 18, 2025. They will take place at UTEP’s Fox Fine Arts Recital Hall (500 West University Avenue, M301).

Strings
- Section Violin
- Section Viola
- Section Cello
Woodwinds
- Principal Flute
- 3rd Flute/Piccolo
- Principal Oboe
- Utility Oboe/English Horn
- 2nd Clarinet
- 3rd/Bass Clarinet
Brass
- Principal Horn
- 4th Horn
- Utility Horn
- 2nd Trumpet
- 2nd Trombone
- Bass Trombone
If a current EPSO member is selected for one of these positions, a vacancy will occur. This vacancy may be filled during the auditions.
