Mike Parker is a 27-year-old American Idol 2022 (season 20) contestant from Warrenton, Virginia. He was born and raised in Gainesville.
He worked as a carpenter in the Virginia outfitting industry. But his wish is to one day be a country singer. Mike received his high school education from Fauquier High School and is a graduate of Atlants Metropolitan College.
He also competed on the NBC reality singing show The Voice (season 15) in 2018 and was eliminated in the elimination round. During the American Idol auditions, Mike performed the song Chasing After You by Ryan Hard and Maren Morris and won the Golden Ticket.
