Meet Amazing Race USA Team 2023 – Contestants Lineup Season 35, Host, Judge & Location, Prize Money

The Emmy-winning and critically acclaimed reality travel competition, The Amazing Race, is coming back this fall with its newest season, i.e., Season 35, and is all set to premiere on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, on CBS.

In a nutshell, the teams will travel the world during this season as well. However, in this season, it will be a 23,800-mile adventure around the globe.

Each location has a set of activities that each team must perform, some of which are physical and others of which are mental before they can find out where they are going next.

The most lagging teams will eventually be eliminated as the race rolls on, and the team that reaches the finish line first wins The Amazing Race and the $1 million prize.

What’s Different In Amazing Race USA 2023?

Along with Sweden, India, Ireland, Thailand, Germany, and Washington State, racers will be visiting Slovenia for the first time on the show. However, the travelling will not start until contestants attempt to walk a tightrope from the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles.

In addition to returning to commercial travel, bringing back elimination legs, the Express Pass, and a new take on the U-Turn, the 35th season of the series will differ slightly from recent versions.

Another noteworthy modification? Well, the season’s episodes will each be 90 minutes long, according to the show’s creators and executive producers Bertram van Munster and Elise Doganieri.

They said this length will enable them to show more of each city they visit, particularly the locals and the culture, as well as get to know the contestants and their relationships with one another.

The Amazing Race USA 2023 Host

Since its premiere in 2001, Phil Keoghan, a New Zealander, has hosted The Amazing Race. Prior to hosting The Amazing Race, Keoghan worked as a television presenter in New Zealand. For these programs, he travelled the globe and undertook daring feats.

Keoghan’s role as a host has been emphasized by his ability to arch his eyebrows at the arriving teams to increase tension before disclosing their position. So much so, that the racers and viewers of the show frequently refer to the gradual elimination of teams as “Philimination.”

There are not any judges for the Amazing Race USA 2023. The format of the show requires each team to go to multiple locations and complete a variety of tasks. Each leg must be completed by teams while navigating barriers, detours, and other challenges. The winning team is the one that makes it to the finish line.
